"I hereby apply for membership in the Massachusetts Paralegal Association, Inc. and agree to be bound by the Code of Ethics and Professional Responsibility (Printable copy here) and the Bylaws (view here) as adopted by Massachusetts Paralegal Association, Inc. (MPA).  I attest that I have not been convicted of a felony for which my civil rights have not been restored. Submission of my membership application with the Massachusetts Paralegal Association indicates my attestation that these statements are true and correct."

If it is found that a member has violated the Code of Ethics the MPA reserves the right to terminate that membership immediately.
All membership dues will be forfeited.

Subscription period: 1 year       Automatic renewal: No
— A Voting Membership is open ONLY to any individual employed as a Paralegal at the time of Application or Renewal. Voting members have the right to vote for election of officers and other matters of importance to MPA. Voting Members also have the right to hold an elected office.

Subscription period: 1 year       Automatic renewal: No
— An Associate Membership is open ONLY to any individual who has been employed as a Paralegal, or has graduated from a Paralegal program and is not currently employed, or is not currently employed as a Paralegal at the time of Application or Renewal. An Associate Member isn't entitled to vote or hold office.

Subscription period: 1 year       Automatic renewal: No
— A Student Membership is open ONLY to any person enrolled in a Paralegal training program,or serving a Paralegal internship at the time of Application or Renewal. Upon graduation, a Student Member shall, at the time of Renewal, renew as an Associate or Voting Member. A Student Member isn't entitled to vote or hold office.

— A Sustaining Member membership is open to organizations, schools, law firms, companies, and advertisers of the MPA who are concerned with the betterment of the Paralegal profession. A Sustaining Member isn't entitled to vote or hold office.
