REBA “Lunch and Learn” for Paralegals

Easements in the Chain of Title

Please join REBA’s Paralegal Committee and the Massachusetts Paralegal Association for an open luncheon meeting at 12-1:30 pm on Thursday, October 15, 2015 at REBA in Boston.  Our guest speaker will be James S. Jurgens, Esq., Senior Title Counsel for CATIC.

Please join Attorney Jim Jurgens in an interactive  discussion of the nature of easements,  how to create,  draft and describe the various types, from a simple driveway agreement amongst abutting neighbors to the more sophisticated cross easements associated with commercial development, including  the obligations and responsibilities of the “servient” and “dominant” estate holders,  to the termination of same.  So as to focus his discussion on the audience, Attorney Jurgens will gladly accept questions and topics prior to October 15th.  He can be reached at jjurgens@catic.com or (413) 552-3400.

This luncheon, which is open to all REBA members, will be held at noon on Thursday, October 15, 2015 in the Presidents Conference Room at REBA, 50 Congress Street, Suite 600, in Boston.

Lunch for those who participate in person will be available at a cost of $10, payable at the meeting, and will consist of a variety of sandwiches, salad, beverages, and dessert.  Please indicate whether or not you would like to order lunch in your RSVP.  You are also welcome to bring your own.
