Paralegals often play a key role in managing contracts in law firm and in-house setting. Attend this webinar to learn about the elements of a contract, contract negotiation, and key contract terms. Caitlyn will also discuss contract management solutions.
During this webinar we will also cover the following topics which are tested on the NFPA CORE Registered Paralegal™ Exam:
● Terminology related to contacts
● Elements of a valid, enforceable contract (i.e., offer and acceptance, consideration)
● Defenses (e.g., fraud, intent, statute of fraud, duress, impossibility, mistake)
● Discharge of obligations
● Remedies (e.g., specific performance, mitigation, expectation damages, liquidated damages, restitution, reformation)
● UCC (specific Titles, including I, II, III, IX)
