Open Luncheon Program on August 8th
The Dos and Don'ts of Drafting Deeds
Please join MPA’s Real Estate Section and REBA’s Paralegal Section for an open luncheon program at 12 pm on Thursday, August 8th at REBA in Boston. Our panelists include Katherine Prifti of First American Title and Neil D. Golden of Gilmartin Magence LLP.
Our distinguished faculty will discuss the issues created when deeds are prepared, executed or notarized improperly. They will review types of deeds, grantor and grantee clauses, tenancy, descriptions, requirements of entity deeds, Trustee deeds, condominium unit deeds, fiduciary deeds, homestead language in individual deeds, execution clauses, acknowledgments, deeds executed under Powers of Attorney, and the practical standards and statutes relating to deeds.
This luncheon program, which is open to all MPA and REBA members, will be held at noon on Thursday, August 8, 2019 in the Presidents Conference Room at REBA, 295 Devonshire Street, Sixth Floor, in Boston. This presentation will also be webcast.
