Section Chair: Student Liaison Director, Aleksander Kusik

Date and Time: Tuesday, April 21, 6:30pm-7:30pm

Subject Matter: Legal Networking for Students: How to Stand Out in the Legal Industry

The legal industry is arguably one of the most saturated, everchanging, and demanding industries. Because of this, networking continues to be one of the most critical and efficient ways to find opportunities to grow – and for many, networking has provided the biggest career moves, even as an entry-level professional.

In this webinar, you will learn strategies on networking in the legal industry either as a student or entry-level paralegal. You will learn about utilizing LinkedIn, engaging in informational phone interviews, leveraging non-legal work experience, and learning “hot” legal terminology to land the job you want. You will also learn how to take advantage of opportunities in the industry that many do not utilize. A focus will be put on how to network from the comfort of your own home!

There will be an opportunity for attendees to ask their own questions and share their experiences on developing their own brand.
