Speaker bio:
Are you interested in taking the exciting first steps into entering the legal industry as a paralegal? Are you straight out of college with no job? A brand-new paralegal certificate but no in-firm work experience? Did you recently get laid off and decided this could be your chance to finally go after the paralegal job you’ve always wanted? If your answer is YES to any of those questions, then this is the webinar for you!
Big firms, small firms, corporations, and businesses are always looking to hire paralegals, and more importantly, entry-level paralegals. Entry-level paralegals are in demand because they can be trained, developed, offer flexibility to the organization.
But to get that job, you need a resume that is eye-catching and one that stands out among the many other applicants. In this webinar, you will learn strategies on how to craft a resume that harnesses non-legal work experience, develop an understanding of “transferable skills”, and identify what exactly hiring managers are looking for in an entry-level professional. We will also go over the basics of resume structuring and identify common pitfalls when making resumes. And while this webinar is geared to entry-level professionals with limited work experience, this can also be a great refresher for those who are making a career change into the legal industry!
There will be an opportunity for attendees to ask their own questions.
