News and Updates from the Registries of Deeds

Please join REBA’s Paralegal and Residential Conveyancing Sections for a webcast program at 12 noon on Wednesday, February 17. Registers of Deeds Kathryn Toomey of Worcester District and Richard Howe of Middlesex North will present.

The speakers discuss Registries of Deeds Guideline changes, the management of the registries during COVID times, and the need to adapt to outbreak statistics in each location. Electronic recordings and the unique characteristics of each registry are also on the agenda. The history behind state-run registries and county-run registries will also be explained.

This webcast program, open to all REBA members, is from 12 to 1 pm on Wednesday, February 17, 2021.  There will be no in-person attendance.
