A Discussion of the Derelict Fee Statute
Please join REBA’s Paralegal Section for a webinar at 12 noon on Tuesday, June 25th. Robert K. Hopkins and Nicholas P. Shapiro, both Shareholders at Phillips & Angley, will present.
Our panelists, both well versed in disputes relating to private ways, will discuss the Derelict Fee Statute and how it evolved from a historical perspective, citing common law and case law. They will also review some of the more common disputes between owners when they abut a private right of way, as well as each side’s responsibility in maintaining and repairing the way.
