Lauren Scanlon, Esq., Rubin & Rudman LLP -  Lauren's practice focuses on probate litigation, guardianships and conservatorships (contested and uncontested), will contests, trust disputes, breaches of fiduciary duty, and aspects of trust and estate administration. She represents and assists both individuals and families in these various areas of practice through skilled writing, research, and oral advocacy. Lauren adopts a resolution-focused approach, emphasizing the importance of maintaining family bonds amid difficult situations. Prior to joining Rubin and Rudman, Lauren practiced at a local domestic relations firm where she focused on divorce, paternity, child custody, child support, alimony, and asset division.

Jennifer L. Laucirica, Esq., Rubin & Rudman LLP - Jennifer's practice focuses on all aspects of trusts, estates, probate law, and fiduciary litigation. Jennifer has twenty-four years of experience as an attorney in various trust and estates practice areas, including will contests, undue influence, breach of fiduciary duty, guardianships and conservatorships, probate law, real estate, estate and gift tax, trust and estate administration, and estate planning. Her multi-disciplinary perspective enables her to recognize and solve the legal issues that transcend these areas of expertise. She has served in a variety of roles throughout her legal career, including in the public sector, private practice, family office counsel, and the banking and trust office industry. Jennifer also has significant experience navigating probate matters in court. She has a unique legislative background in testifying in support of the enactment of the Massachusetts Uniform Probate Code and serving on the MUPC Implementation Committee. She has also served as Chair and Vice Chair of the MBA Probate Section Council. A creative and strategic advocate, Jennifer listens closely to every client’s story and dissects facts from various perspectives to identify a diverse and unapparent range of legal claims and defenses. She prioritizes establishing trust and open communication so her clients can express their hopes and concerns. Understanding how difficult these matters can be for her clients, Jennifer strives to alleviate the emotional aspects of litigation, redirecting client goals and concerns into empowerment and positive action.
